As a responsible spice company, Kitute Gold recognizes the benefits of a tightly-controlled supply chain. With deep roots that run all the way to the farm, we work closely across our supply chain to instill product safety values into our sourcing practices that deliver the quality expected of us and where possible we source quality, whole-form spices and herbs.

- Reduce our environmental impact by lowering our carbon footprint, decrease our water use, reduce our solid waste and develop sustainable packaging innovations. This in turn will enable the environment support our operations in the long run.
- Help farming communities build capacity and adapt to social, economic and environmental changes by investing in local solutions and technology for smallholder farmers to increase productivity as well as engender food security.
- Empower women across our supply chain. Where possible, we advocate for and source from women owned and managed enterprises so that the financial effect of our transactions can trickle down to the most vulnerable in society.
- Work towards better health outcomes for all our stakeholders by emphasizing on organic farming practices, investing in manufacturing practices that comply with the highest levels of food safety, by enforcing strict guidelines against all forms of forced labor; including child labor, by requiring that all our suppliers adhere to our comprehensive Code of Conduct, by having improvement plans in place for our highest-risk ingredients, and expecting our supply partners to reduce and ultimately eliminate incidents of unethical practices throughout our supply chain.
