Masala Fries
Ingredients
- 1lb Chicken pieces
- 1 large Onion (chopped)
- 1 cup Tomato Purée or simply blend two large tomatoes and use
- 3tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Kitute Gold Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp or 1½ tsp (to desired heat level) Kitute Gold Chilli powder
- 2 tbsp Kitute Gold Chicken Masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves
- 2tbsp Oil
Cooking Method
- Marinate chicken with turmeric powder and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste for approximately 15 minutes.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and sauté the onions and the remaining ginger-garlic paste.
- Tomato purée and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chilli powder, chicken curry masala powder and stir fry.
- Add chicken pieces and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add enough water (to desired consistency) and salt and cook for 10-15 minutes or pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
